We are able to offer a chair rental in our Maida Vale Hair Salon for an experienced Hair Stylist with their own clientele who wishes to build up a substantial client base. We can offer from one to seven days per week with all facilities provided. The use of materials and products to be provided by the salon can be negotiated or the stylist can provide their own products.
In addition we may be able to offer direct full-time employment to a suitably qualified stylist, preferably one who is able to bring their own clientele to the salon. Salary would be dependent upon qualifications and experience and there is the possibility of participating in sales commission.
The salon benefits from being in a busy street with bus stops immediately outside and on the opposite side of the road. Bus numbers 6, 187 and 414 pass regularly. We are also within walking distance of Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue Underground Stations, both on the Bakerloo Line. There is on-street parking available locally and several longer-term carparks within short walking distance. This is a very long-established hair salon having been located in these premises for over 30 years. The salon is now under new management and it is intended to make this a busy and vibrant salon carrying out all manner of hair-related services to include treatments for hair and scalp problems. We have recently become a La Biosthetique Salon and Treatment Centre and there is no other in this area.
The salon carries out all types of hair styling, colouring, cutting, highlights, wash/blowdry, hair extensions, hair replacement plus additional related services. The current clientele comprises a substantial number of African and Afro-Caribbean women. The ideal person would have clientele of mainly European origin although this is not an essential reqirement. Currently the salon does not offer any beauty treatments, eg waxing, manicure, massage etc. There is the possibility of us being able to offer a part of the salon for these or related treatments to be carried out by a suitable therapist.
